Explore the history of the MacGregor Family and their home with our docent lead museum tour. Learn of the family's homesteading endeavors, the lifestyle of a ranching family, and the challenges and progression of this lifestyle. The museum is the former family home and the pieces within were the belongings of the MacGregor Family. Be completely immersed in the traditions of the past and the beautiful scenery of Black Canyon, just four minutes outside of Main Street Estes Park. How to Plan for Your Tour: We are a Ranch! Please wear comfortable clothing; be prepared for rain, for sun, for wind! Comfortable walking shoes are encouraged, especially for the two hour Museum and Barn Tours. You will be walking on and through dirt, grass, and other flooring that is not always even terrain.
