Cost of the camp is $250.00 per camper, first come, first serve.
Payment must be made before reservations will be finalized.
Campers must be ages 8 to 12 in the spring.

All campers must be registered. Campers may register by downloading the Registration Form, filling out the form and returning the form by email, US mail or hand delivering it to the Ranch. Campers may pay by selecting the Camp Date in the popup menu below and clicking on the Add to Cart button. You may pay by Credit Card or use a Paypal Account.

The goal of the camp is to provide children with a wide variery of ranch related activities and history including local history.

Find out what It was like back then; cook your meal from scratch, pick vegetables from the garden, collect eggs In the chicken house, pump water from an old fashioned hand pump and sew on a machine powered by you!

The camp is held on the historic MacGregor Ranch in Estes Park using the late 1880's era ranch house, 1896 house museum, barns, corrals and garden areas.

Any child who has just completed 3rd or 4th grade in the spring or are ages 9-11 are eligible to apply for the camp.

Camp runs from Monday through Thursday, daily, 9 am to 2 pm. Call the Ranch office (970-586-3749) for the specifics.

Typically there are three camps a summer, each camp lasting four days. this year they are all scheduled in July. You can watch the local newspapers, or call our Ranch office (970-586-3749) to find out the details.

During camp, the children will learn about Ranch related activIties of early settlers, MacGregor family history and old fashioned family fun.

Sack lunch will be provided by the child's parent/guardian for each camp day (Monday - Wednesday); for the Thursday afternoon meal, cooked by campers, three guests per camper may be served.

Snacks and curriculum supplies are supplied by MacGregor Ranch.


Closed toe shoes, long legged pants, hat, appropriate seasonal attire (coat, hat, rain gear), sunscreen, and gloves for protection.
